After graduating from Kings College Hospital (London) I have worked in general dental practice in numerous surgeries in the South East of England including owning my own practice for over eleven years.I joined the Rainham Dental Surgery over six years ago and provide a full range of general dental care for my patients. My main interests are preventative and “minimally invasive” dentistry.

Dimitra graduated in 2006 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and was subsequently awarded her Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.She subsequently worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Sussex and in private practice in Kent as well as in Athens, Greece.In 2012, she was accepted at the world-renowned UCL’s Eastman Dental Institute where she completed her specialty training in Periodontology and was awarded her Membership in Restorative Dentistry in November 2015. The EDI program is one of the eleven periodontology courses recognised in Europe and the only training in the UK accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).
Dimitra is registered on the GDC’s Specialist List for Periodontics and collaborates closely with several practices in Central London, South East & East England to provide treatment for patients with periodontal needs. Her interest in Periodontics stems from the perception that changing patients’ attitude towards oral hygiene and optimising the periodontal tissues set the foundations for achieving oral health and are vital steps before proceeding to advanced dental treatments.

Kemi graduated as a dentist in 2006 with honours. Following graduation, she spent years working in hospital and general practice. She then completed a Masters in Public Health degree from Yale University in 2010. She embarked on a 3 year orthodontic postgraduate training at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital where she gained her Masters of Science degree in orthodontics finishing with a distinction and was awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2016.She treats both adults and children using a variety of orthodontic appliance such as conventional fixed braces, ceramic braces, lingual appliance as well as removable and functional appliance.

Lanre qualified as a dentist in 2004 with honours. After several years working in hospitals and general practice, he underwent specialist training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. At the end of his specialist training, he was awarded a Masters of Clinical Dentistry and the Specialty membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology and by the General Dental Council as a Specialist.
Dr Onabolu has interests in all aspects of periodontal treatment, including non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal diseases including conventional and regenerative periodontal surgery, periodontal plastic/aesthetic surgery, alveolar bone augmentation procedures and dental implants.
He is a member of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

After qualifying from Newcastle University in 1986 Diane worked briefly in general dental practice in Colchester before moving to Kent to join the Rainham Dental Surgery. She was an inspecting dentist for Marks & Spencer for several years and now practice part-time. She was previously a partner in the Rainham Dental Surgery. Her clinical special interests include children’s dentistry and periodontology (gum disease). She regularly attend post graduate courses and read and research to keep up to date with good clinical practice.

Peter graduated in 2001 at Semmelweis University gaining the qualification of Dr. Med. Dent. (DMD). Following this he completed further five years postgraduate training in Dental and Oral Medicine as well as Prosthodontic and Conservative Dentistry. He has been working in the UK since 2005 and joined the practice in 2017. He believes it is really important to involve the patient when setting up a treatment plan to ensure they will be happy with the outcome. He is a father of two, and in his spare time enjoys his music collection of 700 albums.

Dr Mark Hamburger is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist and an expert in implant dentistry. He qualified with a B.D.S from the University of Witwatersrand in 1984 and was awarded the prestigious B.Ch.D. (Hons) from the University of Pretoria in 1985. He has since built up an enormous experience as a clinician, as a lecturer and as a published author. Regarded as a leader in the field of prosthodontics he has been instrumental in the design and production of computer guided implantology. Following his position as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand Department of Prosthodontics Mark was invited to be the Head of implantology at the dental division of Boots the chemist.
Mark is currently the clinical director of Portman Healthcare and senior lecturer at the Portman Academy. Dr Hamburger has previously lectured at the following institutions: New York University Post Graduate Implantology Program, University of Ann Arbor, Michigan post graduate periodontics program, University of Loiusianna, New Orleans, Bethesda Naval Post Graduate Dentistry Program, Bethesda Hospital, Washington D.C.

Lindsey qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH) in 2002 with a qualification in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons.Since qualifying she has worked in specialist periodontal practice and general dental practice. She is an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT).The aspect of her career she most enjoys is patient guidance and education in the prevention of periodontal (gum) disease.

Amanda qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist at Kings College Hospital in 2016. Amanda previously worked as a dental nurse since 2009 and also within the dental recruitment sector. Upon qualification she was awarded Best Student in Clinical Hygiene from Kings. She has had the opportunity to train amongst special care dentistry teams, paediatric, restorative and periodontal consultants and aims to utilise this training in her work.
